What motivates you to write?
The thought of helping change other people’s life and motivate them into enjoying their lifestyle and showing the world that even the smallest of people can make a massive difference in this world and may be challenging but as long as we are determined life motivates us and I love to write my experiences and share with everyone I can.
I was over the moon , happy and excited there is no greater feeling then all your hard work seeing it in a book in your hands all the hard work and editing processes and pushing your brain to its maximum potential to have what you want the readers to know but I wouldn’t change it for the world it was challenging but was so glad when it was released and could sell to all the supportive people who have followed my journey and buying a book to help support me in my journey further especially work mates and family who have always been there cheering me on with every moment along the way amazed at all the things I have accomplished in my life.
I take it as both, yes it’s my hobby but it’s a career out of my day to day working job as well, I made my bucket list journey into the book so everything in it is a hobby and adventure therefore it’s my hobby that I read over and over and it’s a second career that I help to inspire people and love promoting and webpage designing and all the work that comes with it making my brain grow with knowledge everyday its stressful all the things an author must do to get out there but worth it in the long run as our book will only ever go as far as we put into it and promote it work on it and speak about it. I love it and if only had the funds I would do writing and my book hobby as my life with public speaking influence people along the way, the startup of a book is the hardest part especially if you put a lot of the workload on yourself and don’t want pay for promotions.
For your books you must be doing a lot of research topics and themes. How did you go about it?
I did a lot of research before writing my book into bucket lists and travelling and opportunities around the world and made the most of my research to make a unique book that nothing in the world comes even close to similar I wanted to be different and show people how life can be fun and filled with inspiration. Once I found one idea I came up with more ideas my mind continuously growing while doing my day job thinking what other things can I come up with e.g. 5 km’s race, then what other races and then local runs, global runs etc. the list keeps growing and still is today when I have the time to make it grow and new opportunities and adventures are found by people.
What is the best aspect about your writing that you love most?
The chance to talk to people around the world that you may never know existed and the chance to meet new people and learn new things from others it helps you overcome the fears of talking to people as you come out of your shell knowing you need to or your books just stay in a box and never get sold, share with the world the journey or book you wrote and make sure you enjoy the moment.
Is getting published traditionally tough? Share your views.
All though looking for a publisher seems scary there is plenty no’s before you find an interested company that will take you on unless self-publishing your own book. Just keep asking to be published the worse people will tell you is there not interested and move on and thank them for their time anyways. Never give up trying to get what you want to achieve.
Tell us about your recently published book or the upcoming book?
My book is called My Never Ending Journey of Life it has helped change lives and inspire from weight loss, depression, bucket list living to family hard times to overcome any challenges life throws to you and pull through them stronger than before it has so much inspiration inside it has the readers memorized asking to know more and with over 9000 bucket list ideas inside having readers tick off their own journey. I am currently waiting for the release of a co – author book due out next month or so.
There are many new writers out there who are aspiring to get their work published. What would you say to them?
Never give up trying and promote and talk to anyone about your book, Media is your biggest friend go out and seek it, it won’t come to you until you make it happen. The hardest part is after the book is been released and how you utilise your own potential to find buyers. All though looking for a publisher seems scary there is plenty no’s before you find an interested company that will take you on unless self-publishing your own book. Don’t ever be afraid of a NO you will get it a lot as an author but for every no there is a yes around the corner who will be interested in buying a book or a yes to media attention.
